Why do people take Holidays:

  1. the number 1 reason is good weather
  2. the beach
  3. somewhere luxurious with a pool and near the beach
  4. somewhere to relax without noise

When someone books a villa and flights for a holiday , there is still plenty for them to do:

  1. Car Hire: They arrive at the airport and have to find a car rental company. Speak to a local car hire company and arrange a commission on any cars you book. BEWARE YOU DONT PAY AND THE CLIENT CHANGES HIS MIND. Get the client to agree and then ring the car hire company to ring the client for his credit card details. Consider buying a car yourself and then the rental is yours. Here is a tip : If you add the car use onto the rental price then you arent renting out the car its free and you dont need a rental liscense. You will find most insurers cover the car for anyone over 26.You do not need named drivers like the uk.
  2. Airport pick up: Imagine your property is an hours drive from the airport , your clients dont want to stand for 2 hrs in a taxi queue especially after a long flight. If you can offer to get them to the house you have eliminated 2 problems firstly getting there and finally finding it. If they land at 11.00 at night this can be a stressfull situation finding it in their own in the dark and tempers flare as the wife keeps reminding the husband that if shed organised it none of this would have happened.
  3. Food and Drink: If you can imagine the client arriving at you beautiful home they just want to sit on the veranda with a G&T in their hands and chill while the sun goes down. But the bar is dry and the fridge is empty. I have sold Xmas weeks just because I can arrange a fresh turkey. When you come on holidays to your property you can find supermarkets that will deliver. Then offer to get shopping in before they arrive and also for their breakfast the next day.
  4. Where to go and what to do: Eating out: When you first visited there were restaurants where the food was excellent and those where it was bad. Remember your holidaymakers do not want the bad so let them know exactly where to go with maps to have a good time.
    Attractions: As a local you will know the more interesting places to visit. Remember these people will know nothing about your area they rely on you for reccommendations.

A good time = they will come back again next year.
